Delete Your Acrophobia Account
Account & Data Deletion Request
We respect your right to delete your account and associated data. Follow the steps below to request account deletion.
How to Request Account Deletion
- Send an email to jasonlotzer@gmail.com with the subject line "Acrophobia Account Deletion Request"
- Include your display name and the email address associated with your account (Google or Apple sign-in email)
- We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days
- You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted
What Data Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your user profile (display name, avatar, preferences)
- Game history, scores, and statistics
- Friends list and social connections
- Direct messages and chat history
- Gem balance and purchase entitlements
- Push notification tokens
- Authentication credentials
What Data May Be Retained
The following data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion:
- Transaction records — Purchase history may be retained for up to 180 days for legal and financial compliance purposes
- Anonymized analytics — Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data collected by Firebase Analytics is retained per Google's default retention policy (14 months)
- Game room data — Your submitted phrases in completed game rooms may persist in an anonymized form for up to 90 days
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- Any active subscriptions should be cancelled through your device's app store before requesting deletion
- If you signed in anonymously (without linking Google or Apple), your account data cannot be recovered once the app is uninstalled
